Animal Defenders of Westchester presents:
"An Evening with Eddie Lama" as seen on the Montel Williams show.

Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2005

Time: 7:00 PM

Where: Will Library, 1500 Central Avenue, Yonkers, near Tuckahoe Road.

Eddie was a drug-using thug from Brooklyn, who became an advocate for indigent, 'disempowered' people - and ultimately, for animals. He runs a successful construction business, and is the founder of Oasis Sanctuary in North Branch, NY.

To further raise awareness, he fashioned a traveling 'movie screen' out of an old van and a TV; he then loaded it with undercover video of fur and factory farms, laboratory testing on animals - and drove it through the NY streets.

Refreshments, music, screening of the award-winning film "The Witness", a movie about Eddie's life, and award ceremony sponsored by ADOW, artist Peter Max and Mary Max, and the NY Whale and Dolphin Action League will follow.

Admission is free. For further information, call 914-924-0708. Email:
